Bitsy Yoga provides you with a way to earn money. Many consider the cost of training
as a start-up or business investment.
Do
I need to be a yoga teacher before certifying as an Itsy Bitsy Yoga Facilitator?
No, but some familiarity with yoga is highly recommended. Many participants
have a minimum of one year of yoga experience and a desire to work with
young children/parents(if
not already doing so.).
Will I earn
hours of study recognized by the Yoga Alliance?

specialties, or electives.

possible training expenses:

the Yoga Competency Exam.

is limited to 18 people and early registration ensures your spot. Print

Can I bring my baby with me?
We'd love for your baby to attend the training with you! However, at other
times it would be helpful to have someone mind your baby in another room onsite(if
available) or nearby. You can bring your personal babysitter or share one with
other parents in attendance. If that is not possible, we have had many non-mobile
babies attend the 5 day training solely with their mother and left with wonderful
experiences. We do our best to accommodate parents with young children and breastfeeding
moms. Mobile babies and toddlers are welcome to visit the training as necessary.
Let us know your childcare needs on the IBYF
registration form.
Will I need to bring a baby to the training to practice with?
No. However those attending the baby/tot training will be asked to bring a doll
to practice and teach with.
What
if you don't offer a training in my area?
Please check our training
schedule to learn when and where they are held. Many trainees travel to a
location that is most convenient for them.
What
if I live abroad and want to attend a training?
You have two choices. You can attend a currently scheduled training in the United
States. Or you can host Helen Garabedian and the IBY training in your country. Please
submit your proposal to us for review.
Where
should I stay when attending a training?
Many times, trainings are held at hotels to accommodate those traveling. If the
training takes place at a hotel, overnight rooms are available at a discounted/group
rate when booked 30 days prior to the training. If the training takes place at
a studio, we will list several nearby hotels for you to choose from. The discounted
hotel room rates, or lodging suggestions, are detailed in your training registration
confirmation letter.
Can
I have access to the facilitator manual without taking the training?
No.
All materials are copyrighted and are reserved for those participating
in the program.
Can
I train and certify through a work study or correspondence course?
